Colored Pencils celebrates three years of building community among Portland’s settled and immigrant communities, of all abilities. The event highlights the extraordinary vocabulary in spoken words and on canvas, in fine cuisine, in music, and dance. Fine and performing artists’ reception starts at 5:30pm.

Odessa Too will cook up traditional African-American cuisine, and will offer small bites for sale. Spoken word and musical jamming by old and new, young and old. Colored Pencils begins at 6pm and ends around 9pm.

We would love to meet new and old friends at the event, so please pass on this invitation to your friends and enjoy a new dance performance by Inclusive Arts Vibe and many other amazing diverse artists on June 29th at Colored Pencils Art and Culture Night!
